Scans of CoroCoro magazine were recently leaked onto the internet, giving internet denizens with a love for pokemon their first look at the new generation’s set of starter Pokemon.

According to the information gleaned from the article in CoroCoro, the new starters appear to be a Fire Pig named Pokabu, a Grass Lizard named Tsutaja, and a Water Otter named Mijimaru.

Given the looks of these new Pokemon, I’m inclined to pick Pokabu, the Fire Pig, just so I can call him Bacon. Cheers!

Apparently, Game Freak and Nintendo know that I play Pokemon, so they decided to drive me up the freaking wall with yet another Pokemon game, and this time, it’s not a remake of an older game like Heart Gold and Soul Silver was.

Destructoid found out that the new games will be called Pokemon Black and Pokemon White, and further information on the two titles will be made available on April 15. One good piece of news is that this new generation of Pokemon game will still be available for playing on DS units around the world, which is definitely a good thing, as I don’t really want to shell out money for a 3DS.

In other news, the above picture reminds me of an optical illusion, because I keep thinking the black side is larger than the white side.
